About

Long-form essays on mathematics and computer science, written to be played with.

This is Victor's blog. Each essay follows one idea until it connects to others, and almost every one is built around interactive figures: drag a point, move a slider, step through an algorithm, and watch the mathematics respond. The figures are not decoration. They are where much of the argument happens.

Everything here is static HTML plus a little JavaScript, so it loads fast and keeps working. Math is typeset with KaTeX, and every figure draws its initial state without scripts, so the page still reads if JavaScript doesn't run. Dark mode follows your system, and the toggle in the header overrides it.
